We are looking for a Quality control Mechanical Engineer who will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support throughout the lifecycle of mechanical systems and projects. This includes design, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical equipment to meet performance, safety, and quality standards
This position requires relocation to Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands where housing is provided and likely includes future relocations to other Pacific island locations.

Key Responsibilities:
Review project specifications, shop drawings, and MEP coordination drawings for compliance with standards and design intent.
Conduct inspections and tests on mechanical installations, including HVAC systems, ductwork, chilled water systems, piping, fire fighting systems, pumps, and plumbing.
Develop and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and checklists for mechanical works.
Ensure that mechanical work complies with applicable codes such as ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, and local regulations.
Monitor installation practices to ensure quality and safety standards are consistently maintained.
Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors for quality-related activities and issue resolution.
Conduct material inspections for mechanical components to verify compliance with approved submittals.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation including inspection requests (IRs), NCRs, MIRs, testing reports, and as-built records.
Participate in site quality audits and inspections with consultants and third-party inspectors.
Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for mechanical systems.
Report any non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively and promptly.
