This project constructs two environmentally controlled tension membrane structures, Facility A01 and A02, for four (4) Triton aircraft. The structures will serve as hangar spaces for aircraft of the Triton Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) platform.
Facility B, Facility C, and Facility D will also be constructed. Facility B is an administrative building, Facility C is a radio frequency shielded Forward Operating Base (FOB) Mission Control System (MCS) building, and Facility D is a storage/tool room building. Near Facility C a U.S. Government furnished mobile trailer will installed by the contractor. The installation of the trailer includes constructing its foundation, concrete pad and anchorage of the trailer to the foundation/pad. Installation also includes utilities be provided to the trailer so it will be fully functional. A communication tower and emergency generator will be constructed that are associated with Facility C. Water tanks and a pump facility will also be constructed for this project.
Construction to include all necessary work to produce complete and useable facilities. Work shall include civil, geotechnical, architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, communications and fire protection system components, the preparation of construction documents for review and approval, and the subsequent construction indicated on those drawings resulting in fully functional Triton Operational Facilities. Supporting infrastructure, sitework, and utilities are part of the scope of work and include: demolition, removal, and disposal of existing improvements, grading, vehicle parking, hangar access and apron area paving, taxiways, and access driveways, walkways, sidewalks, pads, fire protection access, site and apron lighting, fencing, gates, site signage, dumpster/recycling enclosures, lighting protection, site electrical distribution system, site water distribution system, site fire water distribution system, site sewer collection system, site telecommunication distribution system, site storm water collection system, cyber security for control systems, and the passive components of the electronic security system (conduits, boxes, pull strings, door systems hardware, etc.). While jet blast deflectors will be furnished by the U.S. Government, the installation of the jet blast deflectors is part of the scope for this project. The scope includes design and construction of the foundation and anchorage of the jet blast deflectors.
