Qualifications
& Skills
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.

Strong knowledge of material specifications, standards, and testing requirements.

Ability to read drawings, material schedules, and submittal packages
Key
Responsibilities
Receive all incoming materials at the warehouse/store and perform detailed checks against:

Approved Material Submittals
-
Manufacturer Data Sheets
-
Contract specifications
-
Purchase orders and delivery notes
-
Coordinate with Storekeeper to ensure proper tagging, labelling, and segregation of accepted vs. rejected materials

Prepare Material Inspection Reports (MIRs) with photographs, supporting documents, and inspection notes
-
Submit MIRs to the QC Manager for review and approval.

Maintain a log of all inspected materials and track the status of pending approvals.
