Qualifications
& Skills
5 to 7 years of Superintendent experience specifically in vertical construction projects.
Medical facility or Federal/USACE project experience is strongly preferred due to compliance and quality standards associated with these project types.
Willingness to work in a remote island environment on a rotational or long-term assignment.
Key
Responsibilities
Lead and manage daily on site construction operations for a medical facility project.
Ensure all work complies with USACE specifications, drawings, QC requirements, and UFC healthcare design standards.
Supervise subcontractors and field personnel; coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials.
Collaborate with Project Manager and QC Manager to maintain schedule, resolve field issues, and manage changes.
Assist in developing and maintaining the integrated project schedule, incorporating design approvals, long-lead procurement items, submittal cycles, fabrication lead times, and field installation durations in coordination with planners and engineers.
Implement forward planning by proactively identifying and requesting the necessary manpower, materials, tools, and equipment with adequate lead time to prevent disruption of work sequences, especially in a remote logistics environment like Kwajalein
Oversee all field activities, including direct self-performed works and those by subcontractors and third parties, ensuring seamless coordination and integration with other trades and phases.
