Narrative on Experience
The project is a Design-Bid-Build effort that consists of a repair by replacing existing elevator and dumbwaiter systems. The scope also includes the design and installation of improvements required to supply power to the new elevators for the Kabul National Military Hospital, Kabul, Afghanistan. All works are inside an occupied and functioning hospital that includes replacing thirteen (13) elevators and three (3) dumbwaiters. All elevator and dumbwaiter systems are completely removed to have all associative elevator/dumbwaiter components in hoist ways and machine rooms. The necessary repair was also conducted in all hoist ways and machine rooms.
